This isn’t exactly hot off the presses, but RPI has received proposals from developers looking to renovate the RPI owned properties of Proctors Theater and the nearby Chasan building in downtown Troy. I look forward to hearing more about this project, as both buildings are very “old Troy” and have a lot of character. I hope that whatever they do, that they restore the exterior of Proctors, and return its grandeur as a result. Proctors must have been something to see in its heyday. We’ll keep you posted as this process continues.
