Why does Zwack still operate the twitter account @rpigm?

Isn’t this a breach of student honor code and the fact that he is claiming to hold a position that is no longer his?

Just because i’m not GM anymore doesn’t mean i’m not a GM… otherwise why do we still call them President Clinton or Governor Palin?
My profile says i’m a “Senior at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute | All things RPI problem solver, facilitator, politico”, I’m not claiming to hold the position of Grand Marshal, i merely use it as a place to share my thoughts and news that i hear.
Plus, this private page was called “the twitter that no one follows” by my successor, so feel free to listen or ignore as you feel.

Not necessarily; assuming that the account is registered in his name, then the account is personal and falls beyond the purview of StudGov. It would be no different than Joanne Smith registering as, say, 1stLady or the equivalent thereof, when this is clearly not the case.

Why RPInsider is still following Zwack’s Twitter account now that he is no longer GM is a question unto itself.

Agreed. And to answer your question, I would say that he still has a lot of pull within student government.
