Friday, February 12

Genericon begins tonight at 5 PM. Registration in the DCC. 24-hour anime, LARPing, RPGs, and much more!

Where the Wild Things Are will be showing tonight in UPAC at the usual times of 7, 9:30, and midnight. $2.50 in DCC 308.

Mexican Night Shabbat Dinner with Hillel. Free, in the Shelnutt Gallery (Union 3606). [FB]

Women’s Hockey takes on Harvard at 7 PM in the Field House. Free! [FB]

The Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony is at 7:30 PM on NBC (Channel 5 on campus). Free! [FB]

Saturday February 13

The Women’s Ice Hockey Team has their last home regulation game, against Dartmouth, at 4 PM in the Field House. It’s free and it’s their Senior Night. [RPIAthletics]

The only other event we could find is an EMPAC show. It’s called NewNothing: Extra Life, and it is described as “a thrashing, zig-zagging, gorgeously heavy band that reconciles the 21st and 13th centuries mixes it up with two beacons of exuberant indie noise dance.” It’s at 8 PM.
