Fences Removed; Students Celebrate

Our campus restored to its original glory, and better!

Our campus restored to its original glory, and better!

The ‘Tute has brought us all an early Christmas present!  The fences have come down! The time it takes to get to the library has been halved!  There’s gorgeous sod and oval-shaped roundabouts so students don’t have to stop for traffic.  What a glorious day for RPI Students!  Rejoice!  Every year we shall celebrate this momentous occasion!

Not really, but we’re pretty happy…

Its nice and pretty but removing that path between JWROL and the roundabout is gonna make biking a little bit more inconvenient. It adds maybe 15 seconds though so I guess it doesn’t really matter. Seems like a new awesome place to throw a frisbee around.

@ Jay, it took me a few seconds to realize what was so awesome about the new paths, and then it occurred to me – open space for frisbee! I just hope they don’t chop the ‘86 field up too much.

Yeah the only reason its done now is because of the shirlextravaganza at Empac this weekend. if it wasnt for that it would be another 6 months before it was done.
