Disclaimer: Al Roker will not be at the Winter Carnival.

We can only hope and pray that Dr. Jackson will be out dancing again this weekend.

SO MUCH HOCKEY! The Engineers take on St. Lawrence at 7pm at the HFH. Coming straight off of a 4-0 Yale whopping, this weekend should be good.

Basketball at ECAV when we go up against Clarkson. Women at 6pm, men at 8pm.

Pirates take over the DCC? Well no. But UPAC Cinema is showing Pirate Radio. 7pm, 9:30, and midnight. A recession friendly $2.50.

Dance! Dance! Dance! The BSA is hosting the 3rd annual Hip-Hop Dance Competition in the West Hall Auditorium at 7:30pm. It’s free! [facebook]

Open Mic at Ground Zero in Nugent Hall at 8pm. [facebook]

Winter Carnival Saturday/Sunday after the jump!

Saturday, February 6

There’s this (not so) little thing called the Winter Carnival happening Saturday located around ECAV. There are SO MANY things to do, you should check out the site to see the complete event listing. There’s really something for everyone. Ice skating at the field house, carnival games, a cardboard sled race, tailgating, athletic events, a car bash, etc.

More Basketball at ECAV when we go up against St. Lawrence. Women at 2pm, men at 4pm.

Men’s Hockey at 7pm in the HFH. Watch Clarkson go down.

Watch Poker to save hearts! The Alpha Phi Queen of Hearts Poker Tournament is going on from 1-4pm in the McNeil Room. Pre-registration was required. [facebook]

Don’t be sad! Watch The Blues Brothers in 308. What times you ask? Why 7pm, 9:30, and midnight! How much? A meager fee of $2.50.

Sunday, February 7

I bet if Al could buy a “Why not change the world?” t-shirt in the book store he would show up and stay all weekend. http://www.teddersrandomnotes.com/blog/2009/11/07/why-not-change-the-world/
