This weekend was a bit of a mixed bag, depending on which sport is your favorite.  If you like men’s hockey, you’re on cloud nine. Football fans aren’t so happy, and those who follow women’s hockey are unsure.  Check out the summary:

• The women’s ice hockey team defeated Colgate 10-4 on Friday and lost to Cornell 1-3 on Saturday.  The women are 3-6-3 overall, and 0-1-1 in ECAC play.

• The men’s ice hockey team destroyed Yale (ranked 6th nationally, and defending ECAC champions) 5-2 on Friday and prevailed over Brown 3-1 on Saturday.  The Engineers have a 2-0 record in ECAC play.  Two great games, filled with excited fans and good hockey.  The men are 6-3-1 overall, and have won 5 out of the last 6 games.
• The football team lost at Hobart College 0-10 on Saturday afternoon.  The team is now 4-4 overall.
