Swine Flu Case Confirmed

An email was leaked to us which outlines details about today’s student who was diagnosed with Swine Flu. The student has now been moved to Blitman Commons.

um, i see that there is a case of ‘influenza-like’ illness… it doesnt seem to confirm that it is H1N1

Some of you may have heard that there is a confirmed case of the H1N1 flu virus on campus. As of right now, there is only one confirmed case. This student resided in Barton, and they have been isolated into a room in Blitman Commons. As students become ill with the virus they will be isolated into empty rooms with private baths across campus.
I wonder what’s going to happen when there aren’t enough empty rooms with private baths…
Perhaps the most astonishing thing about the email is RPI’s statement that they couldn’t fill Blitman with interested students….

In my part of Colonie C, my room is surrounded by about 5 unoccupied singles.
